João Manuel R. S. Tavares graduated in Mechanical Engineering atthe Universidade do Porto, Portugal in 1992. He also earnedhis M.Sc. degree and Ph.D. degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering fromthe Universidade do Porto in 1995 and 2001, andattained hisHabilitation in Mechanical Engineering in 2015 from the same University. He is a senior researcher at the Instituto de Ciência e Inovaçãoem Engenharia Mecânica e Engenharia Industrial (INEGI) and a Full Professor at the Department of Mechanical Engineering (DEMec) of the Faculdade de Engenharia daUniversidade do Porto (FEUP). He has been the Head of DEMec since June 2023. João Tavares is co-editor of more than 80 books, co-author of more than 50 book chapters, 650 articles in international and national journals and conferences, and 3 international and 3 national patents. He has been a committee member of several international and national journals and conferences, is co-founder and co-editor of the book series “Lecture Notes in Computational Vision and Biomechanics” published by Springer, founder and Editor-in-Chief of the journal “Computer Methods in Biomechanics and Biomedical Engineering: Imaging & Visualization” published by Taylor & Francis, Editor-in-Chief of the journal “Computer Methods in Biomechanics and Biomedical Engineering” published by Taylor & Francis, and co-founder and co-chair of the international conference series: International Symposium on Computational Modeling of Objects Presented in Images, ECCOMAS Thematic Conference on Computational Vision and Medical Image Processing, International Conference on Computational and Experimental Biomedical Sciences and International Conference on Biodental Engineering. Additionally, he has been (co-)supervisor of several MSc and PhD theses and supervisor of several post-doc projects andhas participated inmanyscientific projects both as a researcher and as scientific coordinator. His main research areas include computational vision, medical imaging, biomechanics, biomedical engineering, and new product development.

Willie Sai Ho Chan ( Prof Chan ) LLB, MD, grew up in Hong Kong. He completed his schooling from the Queen's College, Hong Kong, and studied aircraft engineering at the Hong Kong Far East Flying & Technical School. And he received his Bachelor's degree ( LLB ) from the China University of Political Science and Law in Beijing, China, and Doctor of Medicine ( MD ) from the China Medical University in Taiwan, China. He is currently working as Fellow, Professor and National Representative of the European Association for Predictive, Preventive and Personalised Medicine ( EPMA, Brussels, Belgium ) in Taiwan, China. He acts as Coordinator among other countries to promote the aim of the Association. He is an inter- and multi-disciplinar healthcare professional with increasing international recognition. He also serves as an Editor-in-Chief for several journals and is an editorial board member and reviewer for various journals. His works is cited in many journals and books. His work aims at driving forward research in the field of Chinese and Western medicine by providing high-quality evidence based papers for academics, experts, researchers, and other related health professionals. His prime research areas include Chinese and Westerm Medicine, quantum mechanics, genetics, nanomedicine, nanochemistry, cell biology, oncology, health sciences, DNA Phantom Effect.

Alan Wang is a principal investigator and Associate Professor at The University of Auckland. He has more than ten years of research experience in bioengineering informatics and integrated medicine, especially in advancing the role of medical informatics in health care. His research interests include bioengineering, data informatics, neurocomputing, and biomedical statistics and simulation. He has developed medical data analytics methods for mobile health and personalized diagnosis and prognosis based on intelligent computing theories. He has experience analyzing huge cohorts of patient data with applications of early diagnosis, disease understanding, and effective treatment of patients with different disorders. He serves as an Editorial Board Member and an Active Reviewer for several international journals.

Li Honggui is a postdoctoral fellow from Institut Supérieur d'Électronique de Paris, a Ph.D. graduate from Nanjing University of Science and Technology, and an associate professor and master's supervisor at Yangzhou University. He is also a member of the Jiangsu Computer Federation and its IoTs Special Committee, a senior member of the Chinese Institute of Electronics, a member and director of the National Materials and Devices Scientists Think Tank, and an NVIDIA University Ambassador. His main research areas are image processing, machine learning, and integrated circuits. With a solid theoretical and applied foundation, he has conducted in-depth and systematic research in these fields, particularly in image, video, and sensor big data applications. He has published numerous high-quality academic papers, undertaken research projects from the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Science and Technology Department, the Education Department, and the Human Resources and Social Security Department of Jiangsu Province. He has supervised master's students and served as an expert reviewer for graduate and undergraduate dissertations under the Ministry of Education. He has also served as a technical program committee member, session chair, and keynote speaker for international conferences, and participated in the organization and review of special issues for multiple international journals.

Gurpreet Singh is currently the Vice President, Managing Director Integrated Safety at IQVIA. He is based in UK and has a total of 18 years' experience in Pharma Industry of which 16+ years have been in Global Drug Development. During these years he has had the opportunity to work with some top Global companies like Cognizant, Tata Consultancy, Novartis and Parexel.At Novartis he was the Global Head of PV Operations managing all Global PV activities. At Parexel he was the Senior Director PV Operations responsible for managing PV projects of top Global Pharma and Biotech companies. Gurpreet is a certified Six Sigma and Project Management Professional. He has keen interest in Digital Transformation and Organization Culture and has successfully led various projects during his tenure in the Pharma Industry. He is an avid runner and a speaker at various Pharma conferences.
